Oilers acquire forward Teo Pisani from Spruce Grove

OKOTOKS, AB (January 3, 2025) — The Okotoks Oilers announced Friday that the club has acquired the BCHL playing rights to 2006-born forward Teo Pisani (St. Albert, AB) from the Spruce Grove Saints in exchange for Future Considerations.

“Teo is an energetic and crafty player who should fit in well with our group of younger players,” Oilers head coach and general manager Tyler Deis said Friday. “We feel he has room to grow and will make a valuable addition to our team.”

Pisani, 18, has four goals and seven points in 13 games with Spruce Grove in the 2024-25 BCHL regular season. The 5’10”, 152-pound forward made his debut with the Saints back in 2022-23 and established himself as a regular with the club the following year, collecting nine goals and 16 points in 41 games before recording a playoff hat trick in a 5-4 loss to the Oilers on April 13, 2024.

A product of the St. Albert Raiders junior system, Pisani is the son of former Edmonton Oilers forward Fernando Pisani, who appeared in 462 career NHL games over his eight-year career. The younger Pisani is a Nebraska-Omaha commit who has skated in 56 games with Spruce Grove over parts of three BCHL and AJHL seasons, collecting 13 goals and 23 points.
