Billet families provide a home away from home for Okotoks Oilers players, offering a safe, supportive environment throughout the
hockey season. These dedicated families welcome athletes aged 16 to 20, providing a private bedroom, nutritious meals, and a positive atmosphere as players pursue their dreams. For many, this is their first time living away from home, making the experience both exciting and transformative. Hosting a player creates lifelong bonds that extend beyond the season, enriching both the athlete and the billet family. The Oilers welcome players from across Canada, the U.S., and beyond, with stays ranging from a single day to the full season.
