OKOTOKS, AB (December 13, 2024) — We’ve heard your feedback. And now, we need your help. Sign this petition to help us get our road games back on the radio.
For the first time in our 20-year history, the Okotoks Oilers do not currently have a contract to broadcast our road games on the radio. We share in the disappointment our fans have felt all season long, and we want to get our games back on the air as soon as possible.
Our business team has been working tirelessly to address this situation since before the season began. We’ve made progress, but we still don’t have a deal. We know how frustrating that is for our players, fans, and sponsors.
We have begun to explore alternate options for making our road broadcasts more readily available to our fans. However, we recognize that our fans find radio the most convenient method for listening to our games.
With that in mind, the Oilers have launched a petition allowing fans to express their support for our road games being made available over the air once again. Be sure to sign it, leave your comments, and share it with your friends!
