The Okotoks Oilers will host the Brooks Bandits in just over a week, on Tuesday April 23rd, in Game 3 of the BCHL’s Alberta Semifinal series.
The best-of-seven series will kick off Friday and Saturday in Brooks before returning to Okotoks for games 3 and 4 on Tuesday the 23rd and Wednesday the 24th.
If necessary, Game 5 would be back in Brooks on Friday the 26th, Game 6 in Okotoks on Sunday the 28th, and Game 7 in Brooks on Tuesday the 30th.
It will be the tenth time the two teams have played each other in playoffs and the sixth consecutive postseason campaign where the two have met.
Okotoks won its berth in the series by virtue of its 3-game sweep over Spruce Grove in the Wild Card round, while Brooks finished first in the combined standings and will have home ice advantage.
The winner of the series will take on either Sherwood Park or Blackfalds in the Alberta Final.
