Okotoks, AB (October 17, 2025) – The Okotoks Oilers have announced that they have acquired 2006-born left-handed defenceman Jordan Murray (Decker, MB) with future considerations from the Cranbrook Bucks in exchange for Teo Pisani (St. Albert, AB) and the playing rights for goaltender Jason Tremblay.
Murray comes with a ton of experience, as he played his first BCHL game with the Bucks back in the 2023-2024 season. During that season, Murray suited up for 42 games and recorded 10 points (1G, 9A), while also playing six games for the Portage Terriers of the MJHL (Manitoba Junior Hockey League).
His point production saw a spike last season as he produced 21 points (5G, 16A), more than doubling his points from the 2023-2024 BCHL season. Murray would get on the board in each of the five games he played against the Oilers with a total of five points (1G, 4A).

Murray also helped by getting on the scoreboard during the 2024-2025 postseason with a goal and an assist in four games.
The Oilers are excited about the addition of Murray and look forward to including him in their rotation of defencemen, which has already seen some success this season.
Pisani was acquired in early January last season from the Spruce Grove Saints. In just his second game with the Green and Gold, Pisani showcased his rocket of a shot by scoring against his former Saints team and grabbing the attention of the Green Army early. The St. Albert forward helped with the successful power play the Oilers have seen to start the season, as he has ripped two shots in the back of the net this season during the man advantage.

The Okotoks Oilers thank Pisani for his hard work, dedication, in addition to his contributions on and off the ice during his time with the Green and Gold. The Oilers wish Pisani success as his hockey career continues.
