OKOTOKS, AB (March 19, 2024) — The BCHL’s Okotoks Oilers are excited to open the team’s first-ever online retail store.
The state-of-the-art Okotoks Oilers Team Store is powered by industry-leading e-commerce platform Shopify and will allow fans from all around the world to purchase Oilers-branded apparel, headwear, collectibles, and other merchandise.
The store is located at shop.okotoksoilers.com and is open to the public as of 2:00 p.m. MT on Tuesday, March 19.
“We’re always looking for new ways to connect with our fans, and we’ve received numerous requests over the years for ways families, billets, and our fans can get Oilers gear online,” Oilers communications coordinator and broadcaster Mike Gould said Tuesday.
“Opening our store is both the end of a long process and the start of a new one, as we continue to grow our business in the BCHL and add to our already diverse line of products.”
The store allows fans to pick up their products at Okotoks Centennial Arena or have their orders shipped directly to their homes. Free shipping is standard on all orders to a Canadian address over $100 CAD.
Included in the inventory of available products is the Oilers’ growing line of hoodies, tops, and headwear from Unparalleled Athletic Co., an locally-owned apparel company.
In addition to the new online store, the Oilers will continue to sell merchandise at Okotoks Centennial Arena on game days, with exclusive in-arena products available beginning with Friday’s game against the Spruce Grove Saints.
