OKOTOKS, AB (November 30, 2024) — The Okotoks Oilers encourage our fans to vote for forward Brett Wilson (Calgary, AB) to attend the 2025 BCHL All-Star Game alongside team captain Jackson Rowland (Calgary, AB).
The BCHL is holding a league-wide vote for fans to select three more players to participate during BCHL All-Star Weekend in Salmon Arm from January 17 to 19. Fans can vote for their favourite players at bchl.ca/fanvote.
Wilson, 18, leads the Oilers with seven goals and 17 points through 20 games this season. The 5’8″, 160-pound forward was named an alternate captain in September and is committed to attend Bemidji State University.
The BCHL initially named Rowland to the Interior Conference roster earlier this week. Rowland returned from a three-week injury absence on Friday as the Oilers defeated the Blackfalds Bulldogs at Viking Rentals Centre by a 7-2 score.
Each of the BCHL’s 21 member clubs already has at least one player heading to the All-Star Game, but fans from across Alberta and British Columbia now have the opportunity to recognize those who only just missed out. The 21 players in the fan vote were chosen through a poll of BCHL coaches and general managers.
The fan vote will run through December 4, with fans only eligible to vote once per day. From all of us in Okotoks: Vote for Willy!
