OKOTOKS, AB (April 25, 2025) – The Okotoks Oilers organization thanks all members of the Green Army who came out to support the Green and Gold in their first full season in the BCHL.
Fans showed their appreciation by showing up every night to give the team a boost at home, which was evident in the Oilers’ 14-11-2 record at Viking Rentals Centre. The Green Army helped set a franchise record with an average of 1053 of the Oilers faithful attending home games during the 2024-2025 BCHL regular season.
The next generation of Oilers players was in attendance during the annual Minds Matter game on January 14. The Oilers put on a show, winning 6-2 over the Spruce Grove Saints in front of 1512 Foothills School Division students.

The Green Army also showed their support for the Foothills County Hospice as they helped raise $10,775 on the 50/50 draw on February 8, which saw 25 per cent go to the Foothills County Hospice Society. The Oilers Organization gives a special thanks to the fans for making it such an amazing success.

While the team saw many new faces with 19 new players completing the season in a Green and Gold jersey, each player has said how much the fans helped make their experience a special one and for making Okotoks feel like home.
From watching Olivier Ciarlo (Laval, QB) earn an MVP honour with his acrobatic style, to Kade Duell (Taber, AB) finding the back of the net 10 times in 10 games, to seeing long time Oiler Jackson Rowland (Calgary, AB) put on the “C” and take part in the BCHL All-Star game, many moments were had this season and the Oilers Organization is proud many members of the Green Army were a part of what is only the beginning of Okotoks’ journey in the BCHL.
Thank you, Oilers fans, for a great season. Tickets for the 2025-2026 BCHL season are available now at https://tickets.okotoksoilers.com/.
