Okotoks, AB (March 20, 2026) – With only four games left in the 2025-2026 BCHL season for the Okotoks Oilers, the team will hit the road for the final time this campaign as they visit Brooks and Blackfalds.

The Oilers can expect two focused groups out of the Bandits and Bulldogs this weekend, as both Interior East Division teams are fighting for the top spot in the division, with the Rogers BCHL Playoffs looming. The Oilers have yet to solve the Bulldogs this season, but broke the regular-season curse against the Bandits with a 5-4 overtime win back on January 25. Oilers assistant captain, Michael Kowalski (Chicago, IL), played hero with a highlight reel between-the-legs goal to solidify the Oilers’ first regular season win over Brooks since the Green and Gold joined the BCHL, which also came on the road.

While the Oilers have struggled lately, they have built up some momentum by picking up a 2-1 win on Saturday against Trail last weekend. Marko Lisica (Plainview, NY) had the hot hands, picking up a primary assist and the game-winning goal. Grady Gustafson (Williams Lake, BC) also had a multi-point night as he added two secondary assists.

Justin Giguère (Saguenay, QC) picked up his second BCHL win in the game against Trail with 24 saves on 25 shots and is expected to make the start tonight in Brooks.

The Oilers look to hand the Bandits a receipt after falling 5-1 to Brooks at Viking Rentals Centre exactly a week ago today.

Puck drop is set for 7:00 p.m. MST.
