Okotoks, AB (March 21, 2026) – The Okotoks Oilers and the Bulldogs will finish off their season series tonight in Blackfalds.

The season series has gone in favour of the Bulldogs, with the Oilers’ Interior East Division rival refusing to fall to the Green and Gold during the 2025-2026 BCHL campaign.

While the Oilers have been hit by the injury bug, which has forced them to play without a full lineup, they did pick up a close 2-1 win over the Trail Smoke Eaters last week with Marko Lisica (Plainview, NY) and Grady Gustafson (Williams Lake, BC) each coming away with multi-point nights, including Lisica picking up the game-winning goal.

Oilers assistant captain Jamie Hikida (Richmond, BC) currently leads the Oilers with 15 goals. Hikida picked up his milestone 15th tally last night in Brooks after potting a goal on a penalty shot. Hikida has been dangerous when given a one-on-one opportunity, and proved it again last night.

Patrik Kliment (Banska Bystrica, Slovakia) is expected to make the start tonight after making 33 saves against the Bulldogs on February 24. Kliment has seen a ton of rubber during his stint with the Green and Gold, including a 53-save performance against the Sherwood Park Crusaders on March 7. The Oilers will host the Crusaders on Friday during their final weekend games of the 2025-2026 BCHL season.

Game time is set for 6:00 p.m. in Blackfalds.
