Oilers sign 2006-born forward Aiden Bruce

OKOTOKS, AB (February 10, 2025) — The Okotoks Oilers announced Monday that the club has signed 2006-born forward Aiden Bruce (Kelowna, BC).

Bruce, 18, has appeared in 28 SJHL games this season split between the Humboldt Broncos and Nipawin Hawks, collecting two goals, 11 points, and 51 penalty minutes. He stands in at 5’10” and 181 pounds.

“Aiden is a young and energetic forward who will add depth to our organization,” Oilers head coach and general manager Tyler Deis said Monday. “We’re excited to add him into the fold and to see what he can do with the opportunity to play in the BCHL.”

Prior to entering the SJHL, Bruce spent three full seasons in the Okanagan Rockets development program. He collected 35 goals and 61 points in 36 games with the Rockets U18 AAA team in the 2023-24 regular season, adding seven goals and 10 points in seven playoff contests.
