OKOTOKS, AB (February 21, 2025) –The playoff push for the Okotoks Oilers continue tonight in an important game against the Vernon Vipers on Billet Appreciation Night.

The two teams have met three times this season so far, with the Oilers grabbing a win and the Vipers with two. The home team has skated away with the win during the three games they have met in the 2024-2025 BCHL season.

October 20 marked the first time the Oilers and Vipers met in franchise history with Brett Wilson (Calgary, AB) getting the game-winner in the third period with a power play goal to lift the Oilers past the Vipers 4-3.

Captain Jackson Rowland (Calgary, AB) enters tonight’s game with his team-leading 32 points in 35 games. Goaltender Olivier Ciarlo (Laval, QB) has been a bright spot all season for the Green and Gold posting a 16-13-1 record while holding a .900 save percentage.

The Green and Gold have done well at home this season as the Green Army has witnessed the Oilers post a 13-6-1 record at Viking Rentals Centre.

The puck drop for tonight’s (Feb 21.) game is set for 7:05 p.m. MT, but make sure you arrive early as the Oilers will be honouring the billet families with a special puck drop and recognition.

Tickets for tonight’s tilt are still available at tickets.okotoksoilers.com.
