OKOTOKS, AB (March 7, 2025) – The Okotoks Oilers hit the road to face Spruce Grove Friday night (March 7) for a final meeting against the Saints during the 2024-2025 BCHL season.
The Green and Gold enter the game with a 4-1 season series lead over the Saints and have won the past four games against Spruce Grove this season. The last time these two teams met was at Grant Fuhr arena where the Oilers came away with a 4-3 road win. Jacob Goudreau (St. Albert, AB) got the game-winner in the second period and Bowen Burke (Paradise Valley, AZ) picked up his first goal of the season on a point shot from the blue line.
Kade Duell (Taber, AB) comes into Friday’s tilt with some hot hands, as he’s scored at least a goal in the last four games played by the Green and Gold. Duell has accumulated seven goals in that four-game span, which was good enough to bump him up to the team leader in goals this season with 18.
Ryder de Nys (Canmore, AB) is also entering the game on a hot streak, as he’s picked up at least a point in the Oilers’ last four games with five assists.

Olivier Ciarlo (Laval, QB) has posted a record of 3-1-0 against the Saints this season, with Simon Westling (Härnösand, Sweden) adding a win to his stats in the other game against the Saints this season.
The Oilers currently sit three points ahead of the Saints for the eighth spot in the BCHL Interior Conference and sit three points behind the West Kelowna Warriors for the seventh seed.
The game is set to start at 7:00 p.m. MST in Spruce Grove at the Grant Fuhr Arena.
