Okotoks, AB (October 25, 2025) – The Okotoks Oilers and the Spruce Grove Saints will collide for the first time this season at Viking Rentals Centre tonight.
The Oilers are coming off a 4-3 win over the Vernon Vipers, and the Saints are on a current three-game win streak after defeating the Langley Rivermen 4-1 last weekend.
The Green and Gold bested the Saints last season as they went 5-1-0 against their division rivals. The Oilers hold the advantage in power play percentage with 19.57% compared to the Saints’ 13.95%. Both teams are tied for goals allowed and goals for as they both hold 35 in each category.
Oilers assistant captain Hunter Sawka (Cochrane, AB) currently leads the Oilers with 10 points (3G, 7A) while there is a four-way tie for second place with captain Brett Wilson (Calgary, AB), Luke Calabria (Huntington, NY), Michael Mikan (Edina, MN), and Brady Engelkes all posting eight points in 10 games.
Puck drop is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. MST at Viking Rentals Centre.
