Okotoks, AB (February 28, 2026) – The Okotoks Oilers and the Warriors will battle it out in West Kelowna tonight, as the two previous meetings were split and only solved by a single goal.

With the season series split, both teams have claimed a win on home ice, with the Oilers winning dramatically as assistant captain Luke Calabria sent the Green Army home happy on October 4, 2025, with the game-winner in overtime for a 3-2 win. Captain Hunter Sawka (Cochrane, AB) was a standout as he grabbed two assists, including one on Calabria’s overtime winner.

The most recent game, which came on January 28, saw Justin Giguère (Saguenay, QC) put on an excellent performance by keeping his team in the game with 31 saves on 32 shots. The Oilers were unable to solve the Warriors the last time the two met, but only allowed one goal against, which came in the third period.

Jordan Murray (Decker, MB) comes into tonight with hot hands as he has found the back of the net three times in the last four games. Holden Pajor (Eden Prairie, MN) is also coming off a great performance in last night’s tilt with the Silverbacks, as he got on the scoresheet three times with a goal and two assists. Michael Kowalski added the game-winner against the Silverbacks while adding an assist to help the Green and Gold get back in the win column.

Giguère is expected to make his second straight start of the weekend, as he picked up his first BCHL win last night in Salmon Arm and was near unbeatable the last time the Oilers and Warriors met.

Game time is set for 8:00 p.m. tonight in West Kelowna.
