OKOTOKS, AB (July 17, 2025) – The Okotoks Oilers have announced that the team has dealt forward Spencer Rheaume (Beaverlodge, AB) to the Spruce Grove Saints for future considerations on Thursday (July 17).

The 2005-born forward made his first appearance with Okotoks during the Oilers’ inaugural BCHL season last year. Rheaume joined the team after playing on the opposing side of the ice against the Oilers during the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 seasons with the Whitecourt Wolverines.

Last season Rheaume posted 23 points (9G, 14A) in 52 games with the Green and Gold. Two of Rheaume’s goals from last season came in overtime, the first against the West Kelowna Warriors on November 9, 2024 in a 3-2 win, and his second came against his now current team in the Spruce Grove Saints in a 5-4 victory on December 13, 2024.

The Okotoks Oilers organization wishes Rheaume the best in his future and in continuing his hockey career, and thanks the forward for all his contributions last season both on and off the ice.

Rheaume is committed to the RIT (Rochester Institute of Technology) Tigers of the NCAA.
