Okotoks, AB (March 15, 2026) – The Okotoks Oilers invite members of the Green Army to take a skate with the team after the game against the Trail Smoke Eaters tonight at Viking Rentals Centre.
Not only should the Green Army get excited for the post-game skate, but Okotoks GMC is bringing in Calgary Wranglers top defenceman, Daniil Miromanov, to the game to sign pucks during the first period intermission.
The Oilers enter tonight down 2-1 in the season series, but are poised to tie it up with a win tonight. Last season, the Oilers and Trail came away with a 2-2 season series tie; the Green and Gold look to repeat history tonight.
Okotoks assistant captain Joey Meredith (Toledo, OH) will be a player to watch as he has produced four points (1G, 3A) in the last five games. Jordan Murray (Decker, MB) has also had the hot hands, as he has accumulated three assists in as many games.
Game time is set for 4:20 p.m. MST at Viking Rentals Centre.
