Okotoks, AB (March 7, 2026) – The Okotoks Oilers are set to visit the Crusaders for the last time in Sherwood Park tonight, as they have one more meeting at Viking Rentals Centre on March 27.
The season series hasn’t been too kind to the Oilers as they have yet to solve the Crusaders, but they did push their Interior East Division rivals to overtime back on December 12, 2025. Michael Kowalski (Chicago, IL) was able to get his team a point against the Crusaders back in December as he scored the game-tying goal with 1:35 left in the third period, which was played in Sherwood Park.
Jordan Murray (Decker, MB) will be a player to watch as he is coming off a two-assist performance against the Bulldogs and has five points (3G, 2A) in the last six games. Newly named assistant captain, Joey Meredith (Toledo, OH), also enters with some hot hands as he has produced six points (2G, 4A) in the last eight games.
Patrik Kliment (Banska Bystrica, Slovakia) is expected to make the start in net for the Green and Gold.
Puck drop for tonight’s game is set for 7:00 MST in Sherwood Park.
