The Okotoks Oilers ended their 6 game losing streak Friday Night when they defeated the visiting Lloydminster Bobcats 9-1 at the Okotoks Centennial Arena.

 A good showing for the boys as they beat the Bobcats to the puck on many occasions, broke up many Lloydminster rushes, made some great defensive plays and scored some nice goals.

 Lead by Brandon Hoogenboom's three goals in the first period, the Oilers go on to score 5 in the opening period and end up with a convincing 9-1 win.

 Scoring for the Oilers were Brandon Hoogenboom with the hat trick, Kyle Reynolds with two, John McInnis with two, Jordan Principalli and James Bannister.
