The Okotoks Oilers recorded their first win of the new season by defeating the Olds Grizzlys 5-2 at the Olds Sports Complex in Olds on Tuesday night.

 Three powerplay goals in the third broke open a close game.

 Scoring for the Oilers were Kyle Reynolds, Jeff Barrett, Quinn Sproule, Cody Dion and Chris Duszynski.
