The Okotoks Oilers will play 5 preseason contests starting with a home game on Tuesday, September 1st against the Calgary Canucks and a second home game on September 3rd against the Olds Grizzlys. The Oilers also play 3 road preseason games on Wednesday September 2 against the Calgary Canucks, Friday, September 4th against the Calgary Royals and then wrap up the preseason on Saturday in Olds against the Grizzlys on September 5th.

The Okotoks Oilers start the 2009/10 season on Saturday, September 12th. with their first 2 games on the road. They then return home to the Okotoks Centennial Arena Friday, September 18th for the home openner against the Olds Grizzlys.

The Oilers will play 10 regular season home games on Friday nights. The second most popular night for home games is Tuesday and Saturday nights with 7 games on each night. Four afternoon games are scheduled on Sundays. No home games are scheduled for Wednesday nights.
