With the 2009/10 season into it's last month, it's time to plan our schedules  around the AJHL playoffs. While the opponents for the Okotoks Oilers won't be known for a little while yet, or home ice advantages, we can mention the dates for the upcoming games.

The top seven teams in each Division will make the 2010 AJHL Playoffs. The first place team in each Division will receive a bye during the best-of-five First Round Divisional Playoffs.  (2 vs. 7, 3 vs. 6, 4 vs. 5)

Round 1:

North Division – Feb 25, 26, 28, March 1, 3

South Division – Feb 26, 27, March 1, 2, 4

Round 2:

For the second round, the first place team will play the lowest place team remaining in their division and the next highest placed team will play the other team in a best-of-seven series.

North Division – March 6, 7, 9, 10, 12, 14, 16

South Division – March 7, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15, 17

For round three, the remaining teams are re-seeded as per their regular season winning percentage for this best-of-seven series.

* The AJHL will grant home ice advantage to the Division Champions throughout the 2010 AJHL Playoffs.

Round 3 – League Semi-Finals (Cross-Over):

1 vs. 4 & 2 vs. 3 – March 20,21,23,24, 26, 28, 30

Round 4 – League Final:

April 2, 3, 5, 6, 9, 11, 13

The 2010 Doyle Cup will be held from April 16th – 25th, 2010 commencing in Alberta.

The 2010 RBC Cup is scheduled for May 1st – 9th, 2010 in Dauphin, Manitoba.
