The Okotoks Oilers have clawed their way to within striking distance of the first place Camrose Kodiaks after defeating the Canmore Eagles 4-2 in front of just about 1000 fans on Friday night at the Okotoks Centennial Arena.

 The win puts the Oilers 3 points away from catching the Kodiaks and Okotoks still have 2 games in hand.

 Scoring for the Oilers on Friday night were Jeff Barrett, Brandon Hoogenboom, Chris Duszynski and John McInnis.
