The Okotoks Oilers have two home games this weekend against important Southern Division teams.
The 3rd. place Oilers will take on the Division leading Camrose Kodiaks on Friday night at the Okotoks Centennial Arena, then on Saturday night will take on the streaking Olds Grizzlys.
The Friday night game against the Oilers and the Camrose Kodiaks is sponsored by Miller Ag Supply Ltd. These teams have split their two games so far this season with Camrose shutting out the Oilers in Okotoks 5 to 0 and the Oilers coming back with a 4 to 2 win in Camrose.
The Olds Grizzlys come a callin' to the Okotoks Centennial Arena on Saturday night for a game sponsored by The Rowan House Emergency Shelter. The Grizzlys are riding a 8-1-1 record in their last 10 games and have climbed into 6th place in the South Division. The Oilers have taken 2 of 3 games this season from Olds, all by close scores.
The third place Okotoks Oilers are lead by forward Chris Duszynski who is leading the team in points with 36, followed closely by John McInnis with 33, Cody Dion with 30 and Brandon Hoogenboom with 28 points who is also leading the team in goals with 17.
Cody Dion has an 8 game point streak going while Chris Duszynski has gone 7 straight with points.
